My name is Dave Moore (at center with the skinny legs). I’m a public-school kid, born in Toledo, Ohio, raised on the belief that if the good guys didn’t win, they should have. My earliest memories were of reenacting Captain Kirk-style fights while balanced precariously over a moat of shag-carpet lava. Since then, the fights have shifted toward preserving the Earth, democracy and civilization. Truthful content creation and communications can transform your organization or cause.
My Story
Dave Moore Media sprouted after 20 years of public-service journalism and 11 years of boutique media relations and marketing work.
In his Journalism Years, founder Dave Moore was truly a bleeding-heart journalist. He adopted two cats after writing about a cat hoarder who was caring for cats that belonged to a murder victim. He organized trash pick-ups with kids in a neighborhood he had written about, while working on a series of stories about gangs. He traveled to a Bosnian landmine field after a friend with a bad knee asked him to carry his equipment to videotape the minefield.
After journalism left him (he never left journalism), he did PR for lawyers, then wrote marketing content for an economic development nonprofit.
Now, he is taking all that writing, editing, marketing, and PR experience, and putting it behind causes that will change the world for the better. Will you join him?
